Ogden Library Outdoor Reading Room

As part of a team at Bergmann Associates, Sue Steele led the design of an outdoor reading garden for the Ogden Farmer’s Library, creating a serene space that encourages relaxation and learning. The garden features native plants that enhance the environment’s ecological value while offering seasonal beauty. Thoughtfully placed furnishings and stone blocks provide comfortable and naturalistic spaces for reading and reflection. Playful elements engage visitors of all ages, inviting them to explore and enjoy the space. The design fosters a welcoming atmosphere for library guests, blending nature with the library’s educational mission.
